As you make your way to the Daintree Rainforest, make sure you go to these locations to freshen up your Instagram feed!

Queensland is filled with some Instagrammable locations, but nothing quite beats the ancient Daintree Rainforest. From the lush greenery plants to refreshing lakes, and the gorgeous colours of the Great Barrier Reef, you’ll have a new Instagram feed in no time.

  1. Cow Bay Swing

Easily the Instagrammable spot in the Daintree Rainforest is Cow Bay Swing. Palm trees lined against the stunning white sand, Cow Bay Beach alone is a stunning location. But the highlight is the rope swing hanging from a palm tree. Whether you’re facing the camera or not, you’ll want to upload a photo to Instagram as soon as possible.

  1. Mount Alexandra Lookout

Along Cape Tribulation Road is a breathtaking lookout and one of the best in the Daintree. Mount Alexandra Lookout has views overlooking the lush Daintree Rainforest and the stunning blue water of the Great Barrier Reef. On a clear day, you can even see as far out as Shipwreck Bay, Snapper Island, and Black Rock.

  1. Mossman Gorge

Mossman Gorge is a gateway to the Daintree and a chance for you to learn about the local Indigenous culture at the Mossman Gorge Centre. This unique location also offers a great photo opportunity. The pristine freshwater swimming hole has giant granite boulders surrounded by the greenery rainforest. Grab some photos, dip in the water, and cool off on a hot day while you’re here.

  1. Cooper Creek

Cooper Creek isn’t as well known compared to other locations in the Daintree Rainforest. We recommend joining a guided tour where you can learn about the cultural aspect of this area. As you approach the creek, you’ll see for yourself the crystal clear water surrounded by the Daintree Rainforest trees.

  1. Cape Tribulation

Cape Tribulation itself is without a doubt one of the most Instagrammable spots you can go to in the Daintree Rainforest. This is where the Daintree Rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef, the only place in the world where two World Heritage Sites meet. Wherever you snap a photo of this area, you’re guaranteed to capture the green rainforest, gorgeous blue water, and pristine white sand.

With a range of different locations, which spot are you most looking forward to for the perfect photo to post on Instagram?
